Some actions in BA/Eureka will apply a damage bonus to your DoT effects, but it seems that the damage bonus is only applied to the initial hit.
As an example, Bards tend to get a full 16 stacks of Focus L for a +480% damage boost. Then by applying "Iron Jaws", both of the Bard's DoT effects are applied with the new potency.
As it is now, it seems that the bonus is only applied to the "Iron Jaws" hit, but it treats DoT damage as if it has no potency increase. The bonus damage will also depend on the total number of stacks at the time of casting.
The bonus damage from Double Edge L is also not applied to DoT effects. DE starts at 1 stack (+15% Damage), ramps up to 16 (+240% Damage) stacks over time. The potency of the DoT will depend on the number of stacks when the DoT is applied.
Common DoT effects that are affected by Focus:
Samurai - Hinganbana
Bard - Storm Bite / Caustic Bite / Iron Jaws
Gunbreaker - Sonic Break
Monk - Demolish (Rarely used)
Dragoon - Chaotic Spring (Rarely used)
Not certain, but Magic Burst should also affect Black Mage's "Lightning" - haven't tested to ensure that it works as expected.
