After downloading and running the update on adrenaline Elminage Original just black screens at boot, running the iso and patch works and running the base eboot without the patch works so as far as I can tell npdrm_free is causing the black screen.

Also had this black screen when creating eboots from leachermans iso to eboot tool on star ocean 1 and 2 and Valkyrie profile lennith, but am unsure if its the same issue due to being self made eboots.

ok, I will look into it as soon as I can. I just moved recently, so it might be a while.

Similar issue with npdrm_free plugin 7.2 and LBP EU (UCES01264) [1] with(!) patch 2.05 [2].
The game doesn't start and the screen stays blank. Without the patch (=2.00) it just starts normally.

That's all with Adrenaline 6.61 v6.7 on Ensō 3.65. To verify that the patched LBP 2.05 works on Adrenaline I created an ISO from the EBOOT.PBP and updated the ISO via ISO Tool. The game starts and I also see the update information messages from the patch.

Is this a bug, a not yet supported PSP behaviour or do I miss anything?

Reproduction:

  • Extract the game package [1]
  • Copy DOCUMENT.DAT+EBOOT.PBP to ux0:pspemu/GAME/UCES01264
  • Extract the update package [1]
  • Copy all files from USRDIR/CONTENT/ to ux0:pspemu/GAME/UCES01264
  • Enable NPdrm_free plugin in Adrenaline

This still hasn't been fixed and you still get a black screen if you update the Eboot file of LBP for example. Works fine without the patch.
