i think there's a bug that causes us to ask the user to download the initial data even though it already exists.

my guess is there are more than 605 files (604 images + .nomedia) in some people's images directory (things like thumbnail files), and we were checking for number of files being exactly 605. made this a little relaxed (604+ files, don't ask for a download).

ideally, should check if all the images are there, but maybe later insha'Allah...
