Bug description

Quicksilver worked for a couple of days on a M2 MBP running Mac OS 13 but after a while it won't show the user interface, no preference window, nothing. The only thing shown is a notification: "interface could not be loaded switching to bezel"
The same behaviour is mentioned in #2436 but reinstalling and trashing prefs and caches did not help
I have now upgraded to Somona and the problem persists.
Seems to work on an i9 MPB running Sonoma and have not seen this issue on a Mac Pro running Big Sur.

Steps to reproduce

  1. Install Quicksilver
  2. Try to launch the action window with control space shortcut
  3. Notification saying interface could not be loaded switching to bezel

Expected behavior

Quicksilver action window should show up

I just experienced this exact same issue - seemingly out of nowhere. I also noticed that the QuickSilver menu item was not showing up but that I could still click on it (see attached image). Upon going into QS Preferences, I was able to switch to the Primer interface, then back to Bezel, and now it's working again (although the menu item is still missing).

@bjer is this still an issue?

Have you tried backing up and then renaming Quicksilver's Application Support files (in addition to prefs and caches like you mentioned)?
