Memory usage increased after upgrading from 5.0 to 5.0.1 (Libtorrent 1.2)

I recently upgraded Qbittorent from 5.0 to 5.0.1, I have just 4 torrents active, most of the time 0kb in upload and always 0kb in download (as they are completed) and this is the memory usage:
Qbittorrent 5.0 (Libtorrent 1.2) -> 50/60mb
Qbittorrent 5.0.1 (Libtorrent 1.2) -> 250/340mb

i know that Libtorrent 2 has some memory leaks, but i'm using 1.2, so I didn't expect this difference from 5.0 to 5.0.1 :-(

woah, I'm seeding (idle 0kb/s) over 100 torrents and it's between 15 and 40mb on win 11. goes up a bit while downloading, but while seeding it stays pretty low. what OS are you running, and are you actively downloading?

I have windows 10 (updated) and i my values relate to 4 torrents in seed (without downloading).

Are you using the latest 5.0.1 version?

yes, but I haven't run into issues with previous releases either. I make sure I keep all my libraries up to date too

I've noticed memory usage spiking to over 550mb while downloading, but it goes back down once complete
