Title of the talk

Checkpoint - Create restore points for your project locally

Description

Checkpoint is a tool that helps you to create restore points for your project.

Unlike other tools like git, checkpoint makes the whole process as simple as a few clicks. There is no need for a remote repository, checkpoint does everything locally. Plus, checkpoint has a clean, clutter-free UI that comes pre-packaged with the tool.

The entire concept of checkpoint is to be a general-purpose backup system. This means anyone and not just devs can use it. Checkpoint also adds a layer of security by encrypting the file contents, which means it can be used to securely share the entire directory. Checkpoint also exposes its internal API which means its functionality can be used programmatically in any other application.

We have asked our point of contacts from Helpshift (venue sponsor) if they have required sound system (speaker) to be able to have your talk. Since you work with them, can you check if the Pune office has that? (We had asked Sarabjeet Singh Gill about this).

I think we have that capability, I’ll still confirm it. Thanks.
