Conda issue with pip20.1 , poetry and conda-smithy. #8226
Comments
Sorry, here is the issue on conda-smithy where I put the details : conda-forge/conda-smithy#1315 |
I can't quite tell what went wrong here, and given the age of this issue, I'm gonna go ahead and close this out. |
Yes I can confirm the issue has disappeared. |
I'm not sure it's a conda , a pip or a poetry issue.
I ran into some issue when trying a conda package for a package managed with poetry.
It is strange since afaik all pip commands used in conda-forge should be compatible with pep517 / poetry.
Also, it used to work with pip==20.0.2 and a simple workaround is to freeze this version.
I'm affraid I can't reproduce the bug outside of the container used to build the conda package. I created an issue against conda-smithy with detailed information : https://github.com/conda-forge/dolang-feedstock
