Medusa on Ubuntu 24.04.01 vs 22.04.5

Medusa on Ubuntu 24.04.01 with Python3 3.12.x; DOES NOT work. I had a python error, which I discovered via journalctl -e (but needed my server up and running soonest, so reverted back to previous Ubuntu version. Sorry don't have the error handy.)

vs 22.04.5 with Python3 3.10.12 works flawlessly

Got a work around by installing python 3.11, modifying the script to /usr/local/bin/python3.11 /opt/medusa/start.py -q --nolaunch --datadir=/opt/medusa

Not everything works yet but at least it's up and running

I gave this a shot, but unfortunately, was unsuccessful.

I followed this article and installed python3.11.

I then modified my /etc/systemd/system/medusa.service to utilize python3.11

ExecStart=/usr/bin/python3.11 /opt/medusa/start.py -q --nolaunch --datadir=/opt/medusa

I then performed a daemon-reload:
sudo systemctl daemon-reload

But medusa strartup continued to fail.

Had the same problem.. rolled the OS back and set it not to upgrade.
It still takes updates,,
This affected other apps that used the older version of python also.
