Is it possible to define a custom __dict__ for a C++ class?

Hi,

I need to create a C++ class which is iterable (from Python's perspective), hence I need to provide a dict implementation.
Is this completely impossible, e.g. I can't point to the given "attribute" or the "function" in the class? I was trying to use
type::of and attr(), but attr() points to the property object itself, not to the getter functor.
