I tried to use this theme to host my github.io site and I followed the set of deployment steps from herehttps://gohugo.io/hosting-and-deployment/hosting-on-github/

but I am getting 404 site not found even though the htmls are committed. Does this theme requires netlify?

Hi @TheThreeCats ,

I used this theme successfully for my blog (https://tagalong.page) which is still under construction.

Try adding publishDir: docs parameter in config.toml or config.yaml file ... and then in your github repo setting (GitHub Pages sections) make sure to select /docs from master branch.

It seems like you decided to switch from this theme to mainroad theme. But it doesn't mean that chunky poster theme does not work well with github.io webpage, right?
