The Operator SDK project has recently moved to a new minor version 0.1.0 that brings new features and refactors the operator framework.

As we are still using 0.0.5, let's consider the cost and benefit of updating to 0.1.x. There's a migration guide that we can use to evaluate this task: https://github.com/operator-framework/operator-sdk/blob/master/doc/migration/v0.1.0-migration-guide.md
