I have Karabiner on one computer and tried to download it on the other. However, I am prompted to give the software access through the Privacy & Security settings. I cannot—I get no prompt. Then I followed the advanced instructions and tried to "deactivate driver" but I get the following message: "Deactivation was failed. (error: 1)." Can you help me to grant access? Thanks!

Thanks for your reply.
I actually don’t use third party security software on my Mac; Mac’s security is usually enough. So I'm pretty sure that wasn't it. However, the good news is that after restarting my computer once more, Karabiner suddenly started working! Sorry for the bother.
Regards,
Erin

It is highly likely that the Driver Extensions are being blocked by third-party security software.
Do you have any idea about this?
