Is there a way to upgrade non-Docker Planka?

I have Planka installed on my old server (1.10.3, bare metal, without Docker) and want to transfer all the data from it to my new server (1.15.3, with Docker).

I've heard of some DB migrations that could cause problems in this case, so I want to upgrade Planka on my old server to apply all migrations needed and then transfer all the data from DB to my new server.

Any ways to do it? Didn't find anything related in the docs. Thanks.

Hi! I would try doing it this way:

• Dump the database with version 1.10.3 and restore it to the database container.
• Mount folders in server/private/* and server/public/* to the Planka container instead of using volumes.
• Start the containers and then the migration should happen automatically.

Don't forget to make a copy of everything before performing these steps.
