Switching between Roblox and Bloxstrap

You may want to temporarily switch back to Roblox's stock bootstrapper, but don't want to uninstall Bloxstrap. This can be useful for quick and easy troubleshooting to see if a Roblox problem is really being caused by Bloxstrap.

Launching stock Roblox

Roblox's bootstrapper has its own launch shortcut, titled "Roblox Player". It looks like this:

Running this will launch using the original Roblox bootstrapper, no Bloxstrap involved whatsoever.

You can then afterwards go back to Bloxstrap by just opening it and launching Roblox.

Changing the launch handler

The launch handler is what opens when you launch Roblox from the website in your browser. It'll typically be obvious as to what it is, but not always. Bloxstrap must be registered as the launch handler for its features to apply to your game launch. If you don't see the Bloxstrap launcher window show when launching Roblox, then it isn't registered.

To register Bloxstrap as the launch handler, simply launch Roblox with Bloxstrap once. That's all you need to do.

To register the Roblox bootstrapper as the website launch handler, right-click on its shortcut and open the file location for it (you may need to do this twice), then run RobloxPlayerLauncher.
