We have a successfully ran workflow, and tried to poison one job: it results in the failure:

This happens with the latest version.

Thanks for reporting this. Will update this soon.

It also doesn't work on the schedules page, but I assume it's the same code section.

@Tjorriemorrie, I failed to reproduce this issue by using our tutorial examples. I can successfully poison a completed job as you can check in the following figure.

Could you please give us more information such that we can reproduce this issue? Thanks a lot!

I am able to reproduce the bug using the tutorial example and any other workflow, tutorial or created by me. Looks like the same error that @Tjorriemorrie had.

Thanks for updating this thread. Would you mind give us more details about how you follow the tutorial steps and get this error? I failed to reproduce the error when I tried with tutorial example, would appreciate more details such that I can reproduce that. Thanks again!

I installed Pinball via source in a virtualenv (Python 2.7). I installed the tutorial folder not into /mnt but into my home directory.
I changed tutorial.yaml to match my settings (MySQL user and password). I also changed ui_host to the machine's hostname, not localhost. [EDIT] Forgot to mention that I also changed the repo directory to "~"
I started Pinball and used the reschedule tool to access the workflows via UI.
Ran the pass_params tutorial workflow once, success.
Tried to poison child, above error occurred.

[EDIT 01]
Reinstalling via source resulted in the same error.
