Describe the issue

The official Phore-qt download for macOS is not stable on macOS 10.13.2 (High Sierra)

Can you reliably reproduce the issue?

I have always gotten this issue with the official download on phore.io

If so, please list the steps to reproduce below:

  1. Install macOS wallet from the download link on phore.io
  2. Launch Phore-qt
  3. Allow the wallet to sync and run

Expected behavior

The wallet should sync and run without issue

Actual behavior

Unexpected fatal error St13Runtime_error

Screenshots.

What version of Phore Core are you using?

Official macOs binary

Machine specs:

  • OS: macOS 10.12.3
  • CPU: 2.7 GHz Intel Core i5
  • RAM: 8 GB 1867 MHz DDR3
  • Disk size: 188 GB
  • Disk Type (HD/SDD): SDD

Any extra information that might be useful in the debugging process.

Compiling from source using the updated instructions in phoreproject/Phore#6 avoided this issue

Investigating now what new step in #6 mitigated the issue. I am assuming it is building berkely db from source, but I want to make sure.
