Raspberry PI 400 USB ports and keyboard not working on boot.

I've been having a strange issue where my pi 400's keyboard and USB ports will be disabled on a cold boot, I've managed to get them working by doing a firmware update, but the fix will only last a reboot bit when the device is off it is not functional as in mouse will not respond or the pi 400 keyboard but I'm able to boot to desktop and see that it's not frozen, I'm not sure if it's to to do with the latest firmware update but the issue has happened out of the blue, and persists even when using other Linux distributions that are not pi os.

Can you SSH into the system and post dmesg?

I will ask soon as it starts playing up again the issue seems to be intermittent is on and off.
