No version of plugin compatible with handlebars ~1.3.0

In 0.1.2 release,
"dependencies": { "handlebars": "1.0.12" }

In 0.0.2 and 0.0.3 release,
"dependencies": { "handlebars": "*" }

My project is on handlebars library version 1.3.0 and is not ready for an upgrade to latest (4.x).
But there is no compatible version of the plugin available in npm store.

The latest version of karma-handlebars-preprocessor is 0.3.0, which specifies

"dependencies": { "handlebars": "*" }

Can you please elaborate on what's the problem and what change would you like to see?
