specifically this refers to issues building tool-kernel

The first part of fixing this is to install a dependency in the userenv for the glibc-gconv-extra package. This is being handled by this PR: perftool-incubator/rickshaw#554

The second part is updating the kernel source version to resolve a compilation error. This is being handled by this PR: #30

I think this is resolved now with the mentioned PRs being merged.
