Brief Summary

Performing:

unzip payara-6.2023.11.zip
cd payara6
./bin/asadmin start-domain

is prompting for an undocumented master password. This has never been the case in any previous of payara5 version I used, and is most likely a bug, since the getting started documentation only mentions the above steps.

Expected Outcome

The domain1 should start

Current Outcome

I am prompted for an unknown master password.

Reproducer

unzip payara-6.2023.11.zip
cd payara6
./bin/asadmin start-domain

Operating System

MacOS 11.7.10

JDK Version

java version "11.0.11" 2021-04-20 LTS

Quick update: After upgrading to java "11.0.20" 2023-07-18 LTS the problem went away. Please close.
