Blocked

This issue is blocked on the completion of paketo-buildpacks/jammy-tiny-stack#1 as a functional example of how the new tooling and automation will work together. The bionic stacks should follow a very similar workflow set up to the Jammy Tiny stack.

Now that Stacks RFC 0005 has been accepted, the modifications outlined in the RFC should be made to the Bionic stacks and/or related automation.

In order to roll changes out smoothly and avoid any changes needed down the road, this work should be completed once the jam create-stack command is readily available (Blocked on PR) and we can leverage it in our automation.

   paketobuildpacks/{phase}:{version}-{variant}-cnb
   paketobuildpacks/{phase}-bionic-{variant}:{version}
  • Create 3 new repositories: bionic-<variant>-stack, relocate code from <phase>-stack-release to the new repos
