Add disk import logic to SDK

In the CLI, disk import involves several SDK calls... but that would be a pretty handy thing to have in the SDK. We could move or copy the logic from the CLI. In the SDK it could be under a feature flag (default or non-default) related to "higher level functions" i.e. functionality above the raw API.
