Hello,

Would it be possible to automatically play back avi files rather than offering a download option?

Please activate files_videoviewer. This should do it.

Hello,

Sorry, I think the issue is different, I had this app enabled, however it doesn't work for any of my avi files. It does however offer playback of some flv files. Any clue what might be missing?

The player is using the html5 browser capabilities. So it depends on what your browser supports

Thank you, confirmed this was my problem. My .avi files were encoded with MPEG, which is not free and therefore FF could not play it. More info here: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/viewing-html5-audio-and-video#w_supported-formats After changing the format, everything works.
