Sync error in group of three files results in no file being synced #4032

So what's the bug? |
Could you activate |
Looking at the errors it also looks like if the Airport WiFi really does mess a bit with the requests.. |
@ogoffart the bug is that effectively nothing syncs, even though there seems to be some partial transfer. @guruz I could, but I left the airport already. It was Melbourne, for the record. Nothing from the logs which is useful? I mean, if the airport wifi messes with the requests we should fix this, since lots of airport wifis (and other wifis with log-in-walls) tend to do that, but people expect their stuff to sync just fine. |
Ok, seems to have worked now. After activating the Automatic Bandwidth Limiting at least the indicators on the images switched and they seemingly synced. |
See also the issue you closed for some seconds #3382 :-) What are measurable things we have to detect your kind of situation? Unfortunately the default is no limiting (which is what you had I guess) Please reply on #3382 not here.. |
Well, good questions. ;) I can’t answer that, I suggest you go check out an airport and think of something because you know way more about this than me. :) |
I’m on a bad network (airport with log-in-wall) but can accept websites etc just fine. There’s mainly a sync problem with ownCloud. It seems that the client tries to sync 3 pictures at the same time. The bar goes up to smth like »15 MB synced«, so actually 2 of the 3 pictures should already be through. Then however it errors and none of the images are actually synced.
The activity log looks like this:
This is Ubuntu with ownCloud client 2.0.2rc1
