Could be "Recent Changes" more visually appealing with colors and icons that make it easier to read?

OP is referring to the "Recent changes" submenu in the drop-down menu, which indeed looks a bit messy, esp. with long file names...

The question here is if we can move from the current simple dropdown to a more rich interface. Say, similar to the revamped one Dropbox updated to.

If so, I’d gladly mock up a concept, which will have the recently changed files a bit more central than now.

@jancborchardt Just like dropbox we could -- just not on Ubuntu with Unity, since their API is limited to force system-provided dropdown menus.

But on Windows and OS X (and Linux which is not Unity) that would be possible? Then I’ll get to mocking something up, ok?
