As mentioned in this forumthread (https://forum.owncloud.org/viewtopic.php?f=14&t=16800) there is ALOT of messages in the activitypanel in the desktopclient.

ownCloud version: 6.0 (stable)

Client configuration

OS: Windows 7

Client: 1.5 [beta3]

Yes, a fix went in today. Please retest with the upcoming RC.

Ok, so I have tested with the new RC1 and it says: "Service Unavailable".

"Service Unavailable" is a message from your server. See here for a description (error 503):

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_HTTP_status_codes#5xx_Server_Error

This could be also related to your problem: #1258
