Strange behaviour when editing when lost connection or expired session.

I noticed strange behaviour of Documents app in certain circumstances. Mainly when on slow internet connection that tends to drop every now and then, and when leaving the tab with the document open for long time (enough to have the session expire).

Usually in that cases, if user continues to edit the document, the app will notify that it is trying to reconnect, but very often (if not always) it will result in errors when trying to sync back to the server, resulting in adding random characters from text that has been added during the owncloud was offline. This happens in realtime for the user as if another person is editing the document. After a while the text gets messed up with random characters and lines all over the place.

The worst thing is that once you close the window, the app will not let you open the document again. The loading icon will keep on spining forever. Fortunately this occurs only to the 'broken' documents and others are working fine.

I do not see anything special in logs so I don't know if you need them. I was wondering if you guys are aware of this problem and if there is a way you are planning or dealing with it.
As much as I love this app, you have to be very careful when using it. I've fucked up many documents already.

Exactly the same situation in my case.
My setup: Ubuntu 16.04, Apache 2.4.18, PHP 7.0.8, Owncloud 9.1.1.
