(I know this repo is about institutions not authors, but I can't see an appropriate repo for authors, and I can't post to openalex-guts).

Could you please take a look at almugabo/openalex_qa#3 and contribute some comments?

Hi Vladimir, sorry I have taken so long to reply. I did not receive any notifications for the issues you have opened. There will be an authors repo coming soon which details a new process we have created. It does not get us all the way to where we want to be but its a step in the right direction. I anticipate later this year we will iterate our author disambiguation one more time to get the desired performance.
