This appears to be a very helpful tool to improve OSM, and catch issues. Is there a way to export data we can use with micro-tasking tools, so local communities/users can review, and hopefully fix them in a more systematic manner?

There is no way to directly export data at the moment, we generate them to the Mapbox Vector Tile format on the server so it might not be suitable for your needs.

What would be the ideal format and use case for that?

geoJSON for each layer, for example.

I should be able to use that, for example, if I want to create say a MapRoulette task for reviewing the addr:street layer, and invite the local community to help with it.

Some layers contain millions of data so one GeoJSON for each layer seems a bit difficult.

What about a feature where you could download the data of the area of the map you are looking at?

That sounds reasonable!

Some layers contain millions of data so one GeoJSON for each layer seems a bit difficult.
