In my local environment the built docs look like this
Notice how by default the navbar just uses the links from the left sidebar. Of course I would not like to just duplicate the content from the left but choose which links to put in the left sidebar vs the navbar.
How do I control which links appear in the navbar along the top? Its quite possible that I'm missing something obvious.

Hi there,
I've been experimenting with adding a navbar to the docs of a project I work on. We currently use the sphinx-book-theme v1.0.1.
I've been following the documentation on these two pages
https://sphinx-book-theme.readthedocs.io/en/stable/sections/header.html
https://pydata-sphinx-theme.readthedocs.io/en/stable/user_guide/layout.html#
I've added the following lines to the
conf.py
file underhtml_theme_options
to enable the navbarIn my local environment the built docs look like this

Thanks in advance
