Work Summary for November 2024

This report follows the updates from the October 2024 report and provides an overview of the key efforts and achievements for November. The focus this month has been on community engagement, developer outreach, the new RING DAO website launch, and preparing for a strong 2025 presence through strategic conference planning.

Community Research Plan

A significant effort this month was dedicated to planning and initiating a comprehensive Community Research Plan to guide the future direction of our products. With this plan, we aim to align Darwinia’s strategies more closely with clearer community needs and demands, enabling us to head steadfastly into 2025. Key accomplishments include:

• Drafted and prepared the Community Research Plan with detailed goals and methods.

• Began building teams to support specific roles necessary for the successful execution of this plan.

The comprehensive nature of this research ensures we will be better equipped to understand and respond to the community’s needs, paving the way for informed and effective product directions in 2025.

Developer Outreach and Networking

Focused on connecting with individuals and groups who can potentially contribute to developer onboarding for RingDAO’s tools. Key activities include:

• Established connections at ETHGlobal Bangkok, DevCon Bangkok, and other developer-centric events in Thailand.
• Built relationships with prospective contributors who may assist in integrating more developers into the Darwinia ecosystem in the future.

These networking efforts are a step towards onboarding a broader base of developers - and getting us in front of skilled developers!

🎉 RING DAO Website Live 🎉

This month, the new RING DAO website went live, featuring a modern design and enhanced functionality to better serve the community. The design, prepared by the team, was implemented and completed through PR #23. You can visit the new website here!

The updated website aligns with our goal of improving user experience and offering a centralized resource for all RING DAO-related activities.

2025 Conference Plans

{UNDER REVIEW} Prepared and published a comprehensive plan for Darwinia’s participation in major conferences throughout 2025.
These conferences are categorized into major global events, mid-tier regional events, and university-level hackathons. Highlights of the plan include:

• Major Conferences: High-profile events like Token2049, Consensus 2025, and ETHGlobal Taipei to showcase Darwinia's innovations and foster connections with industry leaders.
• Mid-Tier Events: Focused on cost-effective engagement and regional presence, such as the Silicon Slopes Tech Summit and the DC Blockchain Summit.
• University-Level Hackathons: Grassroots efforts to attract emerging developers, including the Stanford Blockchain Conference and HackUTD.
