cannot use submit50 and check50

i was trying to submit lab 1 in cs50 codespace i used and it asked me to enter user name and personal token but i was in a rush and closed my laptop when i opened it the other day i tried to use it again but this showed up:" submit50 cs50/labs/2023/x/population

and it never asked me again to enter personal access token and username!
i tried ssh key method also didin't work! now i cant submit labs and problems !
please i need a quick solution for this because it is obstacling me!

Please try accessing your codespace via code.cs50.io, then run submit50 again and see if that works.

Can you now visit code.cs50.io/stop to stop your codespace. Then go to code.cs50.io and click "Login via GitHub", run submit50 again and see if that works.

If it still doesn't work, email [email protected] and we will look into that.

I tried stopping & restarting the codespace, but result stays the same.

Anything else that I should try?

Can you make a new folder, copy your recover.c to it then submit from there and see if that works?

i managed to get it working after i signed out of github on vscode then when i ran
check50 ai50/projects/2024/x/tictactoe

vscode attempted to sign me in to github, but if you cancel and wait it will ask for your username and access token, after you input it and ran check50 you can sign back into github on vscode, it seems that if you are signed in to github on vscode it will just use vscode git signing instead of requesting you for you access token.

Hey guys, I couldn't get the Caesar problem from set02 - Intro to CS to verify. Whenever I tried to test it remotely, it was giving me an error. Checked the check50 manual and found out you can install it locally and test it that way by adding the --local flag after check50. It worked for me and I submitted it. Seems like a good workaround.

Hi Everybody , first i wish all the best for everyone & hope we all benefit from this course , firstly to be honest i'm from syria & i have been on my toes this last week when i'm trying to use codespaces , sometimes it works , sometimes it won't , sometime they tell me that i'm in a restricted jurisdiction , & sometimes they automatically stopping the codespace, so it was very troubling for me , now i can't check my code using check50 , they told that i used my github password to log in & that is not available anymore , & they told me to create a personal access token , so i went & created it , but it was like nothing changes , & i didn't find anywhere where i can enable the check50 & submit50 in the submit50.io , Please Help if anyone reading . here is a screenshot for the problem too

i've tried a fine-grained token, and a classic one, and both don't work. i think i input my email correctly but i can't double-check as it doesn't prompt for it anymore.
https://cs50.ly/github just redirects to github help, and https://submit.cs50.io works alright and shows everything perfectly.
cs50.dev works perfectly alright. but i'd rather use vscode locally offline, as we often have power outages and i like to solve things offline, so i'd rather check and submit them online, too.
