Welcome to the GitHub Community, @shreysavagave, we're happy you're here! You are more likely to get a useful response if you are posting your question in the applicable category and are explicit about what your project entails--giving a few more details might help someone give you a nudge in the right direction. I've gone ahead and moved it to Repositories for you. Good luck! |

Hi GitHub Team,
I have an idea for a feature that could significantly enhance user interaction on GitHub: a comment section for repositories.
This feature would provide:
A space for users to leave general feedback or express appreciation for a repository.
A way to discuss topics that don’t fit under issues or pull requests.
Opportunities for collaboration, idea sharing, and fostering a stronger sense of community around a project.
The comment section could be optional for repository owners to enable, giving maintainers control over its usage.
I believe this addition would make GitHub even more collaborative and user-friendly.
Looking forward to hearing your thoughts!
Thank you,
Shrey
