Example:
User merges a PR from branch
dev
to branchmain
. After merging, the PR has this indicator in the upper left-hand corner of the screen:I'd like this to be a link. I'm imagining something like
https://github.com/org/repo/tree/main?commit="68c0e8de"
. Ideally, you'd click it and it would take you to the list of commits formain
, on whatever page the commit was made, and highlight the commit or make it obvious in some way.This would be nice when looking through merged PRs. Currently, it's easy to navigate to the branch that the PR was merged into, but for an older PR it's harder to locate the merge commit in the history.
