Hi @Bethelhem-Gebre, I haven't encountered such issue as I'm conducting the study in English language. However, since the courses aren't available in Amharic language, and If you feel that you would need to translate a lesson beforehand, please contact the mentors for guidance as stated here |

Hi @Bethelhem-Gebre just like @Judith0001 stated you should contact the mentors if you feel that you would need to translate a lesson beforehand. Also, as a contributor you can work on the translation of lessons to your local language. You would need to sign up to Oppia and in the drop down close to your avartar you open a contributor dashboard, Then you switch tabs from "My contributions" to "Translate Text" select the language and subject you want to translate it will bring up available lessons to translate, then you can begin translating. It counts as contributions as well! I hope this was helpful! |

@Bethelhem-Gebre First of all, the learners you intend carrying out the research with, can they take the lessons in any of the available languages? |

Hi everyone, I am working on task 1, lesson effectiveness study and one thing I have noticed is that the courses are not available in my local language which is Amharic. Have any one of you guys encountered such problem. How are planning to deal with it or how have you dealt with it (if you have so)?
I am currently working on some simple guide in Amharic but I am just wondering what your opinion is on this matter. And dear Mentors @Kebith what do you say about this?
Thanks!
