Little Help!!! Exporting Arts/Images from illustrator

please i only know of setting background to transparent when exporting in PNG, please is there a settings or a way to export SVG without background (the background is the white artboard space) i have tried to search for it online but i can not not find any explanation process or video process that shows how to export SVG without background

SVG images by default don't have a background. Be sure you're exporting the image as an SVG. If you export it as a PNG, it will display with a background but if exported as an SVG, it should display without a background.

Depending on the illustrator software you're using,

• Go to the 'File' menu

• Select 'save as' or 'export'

For the export, it should show options either to export as PNG or SVG.

To export as SVG in illustrator, go to...

File > Export > Export as > There's a dropdown that says 'save as type' Click on SVG and then click the Export button.
