Internship Task- Learner’s Feedback on Lessons I created

The third internship tasks says to - conduct learner feedback studies with underprivileged students to validate and improve the lessons that you have created. Use the results to improve both the lessons and the creator guidelines.

@Kebith @Raffysul to help guide the internship project timeline, how will the research be made? Would we be working with developers, who will develop the lessons, and make it assessable to the learners on the Oppia app, and we can test from there?

Hi @Adenike-O Yes as a Lesson creation Oppia Intern, you get to work with different teams not just the developers.

The research is just like the task 1 for this project where we have learners who we give participant IDs and they go through the lessons while you note down your observations. The difference here is, after the research, the participants are asked certain questions on how the lesson went.

The research would be carried out the way you carried out the Learner's feedback study (Task 1).

In the process of improving the lesson, you might have to work with developers and other members of Oppia's team.

I think one way to go about it, is to think about how long it took you to complete the task 1, and give an estimate. It doesn't have to be 100% accurate as this would be reviewed and modified during the internship.

With regards how the research will be, it will be conducted same way task 1 in this contribution phase was carried out. So, based on the timeline, you could input an estimate considering how long it took you in the contribution phase took you. Also remember, the mentors will still review the timelines after one is selected as an intern.

That internship task is similar to task 1 for the contributions.
It's to conduct learner's feedback on the lessons that have been created as an intern, and use the feedback to improve the lessons.
There's a structure available to implement the lessons directly on the website as a lesson creator.
