What is the bug?
We are experiencing an intermittent issue with manual refreshes failing unpredictably. We are using the OpenSearch SQL ODBC driver, and while the refresh works at times, it occasionally fails without a clear pattern.

How can one reproduce the bug?
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Go to the report in the workspace
  2. Click on refresh icon
  3. Press on the error button
  4. See error

What is the expected behavior?
A refreshed Power BI report is to successfully retrieve the latest data from connected sources, update all visuals and calculations without errors, complete efficiently within a reasonable time frame, preserve customizations, and provide logs or alerts for any failures.

What is your host/environment?

  • OS: Microsoft Windows 10 Enterprise
  • Version: 10.0.19045.5131
  • Plugins : ODBC driver version: 1.05.00.00

Do you have any screenshots?
