Tell us about your request. Provide a summary of the request.
For 2.17, we are releasing disk-based k-NN vector search. Details on experience are contained in opensearch-project/k-NN#1779.

We need to enhance the existing k-NN documentation to contain information about the new quantizer support, the new mode and compression level parameters and when to use what.

*Version: List the OpenSearch version to which this issue applies, e.g. 2.14, 2.12--2.14, or all.

What other resources are available? Provide links to related issues, POCs, steps for testing, etc.
High level RFC has all details: opensearch-project/k-NN#1779
