[BUG] Reporting header button only displayed after adjusting date range #368
Comments
@opensearch-project/admin could you help forward this to reporting team? |
While investigating a different bug, I noticed this happening as well (on AWS Opensearch v2.13). Refreshing the page seems to bring it back, but any change to the query makes it disappear again. |
I've seen a very similar case today, again on AWS OpenSearch 2.13.0, but without switching index patterns.
|
Reproduced in AWS OpenSearch 2.15.0, using Chrome 130.0.6723.117 (Official Build) (64-bit).
Please note, works well using firefox (at least in 132.0.2 (64-bit)) |
Seems fixed with AWS OpenSearch 2.17.0 |
Describe the bug
When navigating to the "Discover" menu and changing the selected index pattern the "Reporting" option in the top right disappears until a new date range is selected. This behavior was different before OpenSearch (Dashboards) version 2.13.0 and only appeared since this version in our test and production clusters.
We have 3 nodes which are both master and data nodes, and each of these nodes has OpenSearch Dashboards installed as well.
