As an active member of the OpenIM community, I would like to raise a proposal to enhance the Contributor License Agreement (CLA) process for our GitHub repository. The CLA is an essential legal tool that ensures we have the necessary rights to use, modify, and distribute contributions made to the project. To further improve the transparency, clarity, and ease of contribution.

  • Simplified CLA Workflow 🔄

  • Multi-Lingual CLA 🌐

  • PR CLA Signature Status Indicator 📜

  • CLA Reminder Automation ⏰

Proposal: Set up automated reminders for contributors who have not signed the CLA after making their first pull request or contribution. The reminders can be sent through email or GitHub notifications.
