(Use Case Vocabulary) raw to validated log
Borehole logs can be:
- about multiple underground properties,
- have different validation status.
Multiple logs can be assigned/attached to a Borehole.
Some downhole observations are continous measurement can they be splitted into from/to/value ? not always interpolation can be made (continous VS discrete values). Should those those be considered 'OutOfBandResult' ? -> that's a github issue
"Log observed along the path of the borehole. Those logs are the result of an interpretation by a human being (driller, geologist) where specific features (lithostratigraphicunit, contacts, ... ) are recognized. They differ from observation of natural parameters acquired by sensing devices (ex : geophysics and imagery)." (adapted from EPOS conceptual model) A log is an observation made up of several LogResultElement.
- same as OM_Observation : even the validation workflow (using resultQuality and relatedObservation)
"The value of the log property at a depth interval along the log. (GWML2)"
- depth: up to the encoding to decide where it's an interval or just one z
- property value
