Steps to regenerate issue:

Connected Successfully to Open Distro For Elasticsearch with enabled DirectQuery mode
Loaded table kibana_sample_data_flights
Created simple table graph with column OriginCountry
Added basic filter for selecting only CA

After applying a filter, the following error was returned
