Technical requirements for a virtual machine hosting udata

Hello,

We would like to deploy an udata portal with a slightly customized theme on a virtual machine on our internal infrastructure.

We're planning a Docker-based deployment, probably with a compose at first, possibly automated with Ansible.

We've had a good look at the documentation on system requirements (https://udata.readthedocs.io/en/stable/system-dependencies/) and are now looking for additional information on how to size the VM:

• number of virtual cores
• storage space
• storage type
• RAM
• ...

Can you share some sample configurations please? or Ansible playbooks if you also use this tool?

Subsidiary question: is it possible to use the ElasticSearch instance built into the udata suite for other purposes, or is this not advisable?
