Hello,
the possibility to activate the PPD42NS in the settings was removed in the last stable version, published this year.
There is only a handful of PPD42NS devices in our network. This sensor isn't really meant to be used to measure PM and gives you only a particle count. And this is highly dependend from your location.
In the actual stable firmware version the routines to read the PPD42NS data and transmit it to our servers are included and working. So if you have this sensor and it's activated in a former firmware version than it should work also now.
I see a commit from Jan 5 2020 3d06a3c removing parts of the documentation, but when was the support dropped entirely?
It's also not clear, when going to sensors.community which sensors are supported.
Some pages, like this wiki point only to SDS011 and PPD42NS, even though it's no longer on the configuration page of the latest firmware.
