Bug: Talking to new repos does not work on the first try

Describe the bug

I have tested the follow repos that have not been indexed yet and they present the 404, but it does not show indexed chat bubble ready state unless I refresh and try again.

• open-sauced/opengraph
• open-sauced/hot

Steps to reproduce

1. Open the new chat window (in production)
2. Search a repo that is not in the existing collection and report back the amount of time it takes to index. Recordings are appreciated.
