  • Target v3.1.0 before the new year. Target about 2 weeks from now
  • OSC Monitoring code PR 4527 to master
    • Need feedback from the community on the structure change
    • Need this in v3.1.0 or some version (e.g., PR 4521) for Portals support (otherwise it will be broken)
    • George to send email to list asking for comment

Review Master Master Pull Requests

  • PR 4532 local spawn
    • Parallelize the local spawn
    • Harvest threads at the end of the launch
    • If nothing specified then start number of threads equal to the number of cores
      • Suggested stating threads based upon PPN at launch time
      • Suggested forking then forking to minimize page table copy overhead/serialization
    • Target Post 3.1 release
    • Josh to send out some of the thread launch scaling data taken from a Power8 system with PPN up to 160
  • LSF/CSM - PR 4439
    • IBM to review

MTT / Jenkins Testing Dev

  • Seems to be a memory leak in the OMPI Jenkins
    • Working on a solution
