As the title says it would be wonderful if Onivim comes up with its own design language. Even though ironically I am so excited about this project because it looks like VS Code, but I think that it should not market itself as the graphical Vim client which is a clone of VS Code in order to grow in the long run: I would really love if this editor is presented as a wonderful alternative open source modern text editor based on Vim. Implementing its own design language would be the first step towards it in my opinion.
Although I am not a professional designer, I could help out if you agree and want to take the project in this direction. Though I you are a good designer yourself seeing the Onivim website. Please let me know what you think.
