VST audio plugin support would be amazing

I think Olive is awesome and want to switch ASAP as it would be perfect for the type of editing I do, however the lack of audio tools is kind of a deal breaker ATM.

With the support of VSTs users would be able to use their existing tools to handle the audio editing, and the way the node graph currently works means that most of the UI already exists to support them.

There would still be two main UI elements that would be needed:

• One of the "sockets," of a VST node is a button which opens up the external VST interface
• Since VSTs can have quite a few IO connections, Olive would also need a dialog which determines which IO sockets are exposed in the editor.

I feel like VST support would be the fastest way to add powerful audio support without the cost of the Olive team having to implement their own audio effects.
