Current Behavior

I have created a floor plan visual in Power BI Desktop using Synoptic Panel. The image used in the visual is an SVG which was generated using your online Synoptic Designer tool.

I have switched on Keep visible and Zoom in the Toolbar formatting options and all functions are working correctly. I can zoom in and out using the toolbar zoom controls and do the same with my mouse scroll wheel. The Reset button also works correctly.

When I upload the report to the web, I am unable to see the toolbar at all. This is true whether I switch Keep visible on or off. I can zoom in and out using the mouse wheel and when I do this, the missing buttons appear but none of them work. When I refresh my browser, the toolbar disappears. This behaviour is consistent when viewing as an App or as a report.

We are running our reports off a Power BI Premium capacity that is hosted by Microsoft.

I have attached a sample PBIX file and screenshots of the visual as seen in the Desktop and on the Web Service.

Please let me know if you need any more info.

Thanks

Power BI Version

Version: 2.124.2028.0 64-bit (December 2023)

Steps To Reproduce

  1. In Power BI Desktop, open my example PBIX and look at the SP visual. Note the Change, Gallery, Zoom and Reset buttons in the visual.
  2. Upload the report to a Premium Capacity workspace on the Power BI web service
  3. Open the report on the web service and note that the Zoom toolbar is missing
  4. Zoom in with the mouse wheel and the buttons should appear
  5. Click on any of the buttons and they will have no effect

We are working on a new premium version that will replace the current one and will include several improvements, including the suggested one. The ETA is Q2 2024.
